Portfolio Day

It was that time of year again, Portfolio Day at CalArts.

Always stressful and tiring, but fun because you're going through it with everyone :P

And it's always nice to know that industry people are looking at your stuff and taking resumes, reels and other goodies.

I put out a mini supplementary portfolio with my demo reel this year.

Everyone had amazing portfolios and I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this or not.

But I haven't posted any life drawings in a while or my film stuff.

So here is my mini portfolio:

GoGo Girl

Just a doodling of a go-go girl. Or raver girl.

They're about the same I guess because they wear very little clothing.

I really love Erin Kavanagh's characters in her third year film and drew the girl based off of her designs.

Maybe I can color it for real when films are done.

Character Animation Gallery Show

Last night was the Character Animation Gallery Show and it was super awesome!

It's the only time of the school year that our program gets to showcase the work we've been doing.

So it's a lot of fun and it's great to have our artwork up in a space where everyone else can see it.

I shared a space with my wonderful and talented friend, Kari!

I posted a few pictures of our space with horrible lighting because my camera's phone is not very good :/

But you can see some of the stuff that we put up.

I also scanned a few of my gallery pieces as well. Mainly the watercolor ones.

I'm so happy and lucky to be a part of this gallery show, and I'm already looking forward to the ones that will be happening in the future.

It's really scary to think that I only have 2 left!
