Good Bye Teacher Wu

Yesterday, I received some really sad news.

My Chinese painting teacher has passed away.

I didn't really get to paint or see him at all this entire year because of his health issues.

I feel kind of bad that I didn't get to see him one last time.

I would've thanked him for sharing his love and wisdom for art.

Because Chinese painting is so rare these days, I'm so grateful that I got to be a little part of it.

I would not be the artist that I am today if I didn't have him as a teacher.

He taught me so much and he believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself.

I'm going to miss him very much.

I'm going to miss driving home every weekend to sit across from him and learn.

Thank you so much Teacher Wu.

We'll miss you.

I wanted to post some small prints that he gave me a while back.

They're not the best quality, but they're amazing.

I'm so happy films are done and I was able to finish.

There are things that I could've done better, but hopefully I'll improve next year and make a better film :P

Done With Films!

This blog has been quiet for a while because of films.

But now that they're finally done, I can start posting again!

The Character Animation Open Show is this weekend and I cannot be more excited.

For now, I'm going to post 2 screen shots of my film.

And I'll share more work later on!
