Character Designs

For this post, I wanted to upload character designs that I did for Andy Suriano's class.

We were assigned to design a barbarian action show.

So I decided to design some Inuit barbarians!

Because I really like native american culture :)

These are taken straight from my portfolio. I want to make changes to them when I get the chance.

Especially the line work. But here they are for now!

There is one more character that is second in command to the bad guy.

I'll post him too sooner or later!

Demo Reel

I'm hoping I can become an animator in the near future, but my blog barely has any animation on it!
So I'm going to try to get over my fear of posting my animations and post the demo reel that I will be showing at this year's portfolio day at CalArts.
Very scary.
I'm hoping to update it when I finish my third year film.
I'm having some issues rendering in Maya, so the shots of my film in the reel don't look very nice right now :P

More Watercolor Pieces

I just wanted to post more watercolor pieces that I did for my boyfriend.

I forgot to scan the first one before I sent it to him via snail mail.

My boyfriend works with cloud technology, so that explains the first one!

Hedgehog

I'm trying to paint little watercolor pieces here and there because I'm making a CG film this year.

I hope I can keep this up!

Here is a hedgehog that I painted for my boyfriend's cousin.

It's actually my first time drawing a hedgehog so it's not all that good :(
